Controls are agreed for the actual shipment, not implied by a generic label.
NTK Chain / Operating framework
Accepted.
Secured.
In Transit.
Delivered.
Verified.
NTK Chain is the accountability framework behind an accepted movement. It defines the handoffs, milestones, exceptions, and delivery record that matter for that specific shipment.
If the planned route, handoff, timing, or condition materially changes, NTK reports the exception.
Delivery is not simply “done.” The agreed recipient confirmation or proof closes the movement.
The five stages
Every movement has a defined state.
The exact records and controls depend on the customer, cargo, and assignment. These five stages give every accepted movement a consistent operating language.
- 01AcceptedScope confirmed
NTK has reviewed the requested movement and confirmed the agreed route, timing, shipment scope, handling requirements, and acceptance conditions.
- 02SecuredCustody recorded
The accepted shipment has entered the agreed NTK movement process. Required pickup details, responsible parties, and custody information are recorded for the assignment.
- 03In TransitMilestones tracked
The shipment is moving under the accepted plan. Relevant milestones are communicated, and material exceptions are surfaced rather than hidden behind a generic status.
- 04DeliveredRecipient handoff
The shipment has reached the agreed destination and the delivery handoff has occurred according to the recipient and verification requirements defined for the movement.
- 05VerifiedPOD retained
The movement is closed with the agreed proof of delivery, recipient confirmation, and any required delivery record retained according to the assignment.
Defined by assignment
Chain of custody is not one-size-fits-all.
NTK Chain does not by itself imply a regulated evidence, medical, classified, law-enforcement, export-controlled, or other specialized custody standard. Those requirements are accepted only when NTK has confirmed the necessary authority, training, insurance, handling process, and contractual scope.
